Is Lento free?
Yes. You can guard one app for free. Lento Pro lets you guard up to 20, each with its own budget. Monthly and yearly plans are available in the app; the App Store shows current pricing and any trial offer.
How is this different from a screen time limit?
Lento focuses on the moment you open an app. A short breath helps you pause, then you choose how much time you need. Each app has a daily budget of opens, so you can make more deliberate choices throughout the day.
What if I run out of opens?
You can still open the app, but the breath is three times longer and that open counts as over budget. Your daily opens refill at midnight. You can adjust or remove your guards in Lento.
Which devices does Lento work on?
Lento is made for iPhone and requires iOS 18 or later. It uses Apple’s Screen Time permission to guard the apps you choose. There is no Android version at the moment.
Can Lento see which apps I use?
Apple gives Lento private tokens for your selections, rather than readable app identities. Your guard settings and activity history are stored on your device. Optional usage analytics and subscription services are explained in the privacy policy.
